About the Capacity Building Institute

The Capacity Building Institute (CBI), is a six-month program designed to assist nonprofit leaders in the development of their strategic plans. Cohorts of selected organizations are provided with six monthly workshops that take them through a series of training that instruct them and give them time to develop different sections of their strategic plans. They work individually with their respective board, staff and volunteers, and within a network of peers. They are provided with technical assistance in the form of executive coaching, individual training, and/or systems development, i.e., QuickBooks set up and training a bookkeeper, prospect research and a fund development calendar, set up of a Salesforce account for use as a project management tool and recordkeeping system; and much more!!
